The terrain
Tommy takes you out on his boat each day to access skiing across the surrounding islands and fjords. Peaks rise over 1,000 metres straight from the sea — ski runs begin on the beach and climb to Arctic summits.
At 70°N, snow is dependable, every season delivers. Due to the ocean current, temperatures are not extreme and are much like you find in the Rockies or Europe. We rarely see other skiers. The terrain is effectively unlimited and entirely untracked.
The boat gives you access to an enormous range of terrain across multiple islands and fjords. Every day can be completely different — a new valley, a new summit, a new run back to the water's edge. There are excellent tours for skiers of all abilities, or we can go as steep as conditions permit.
Avalanche conditions in Northern Norway are similar to maritime climates in other parts of the world. Surface faceting and persistent weak layers are not as big a problem as elsewhere.

IFMGA Guiding
All trips are guided by an IFMGA-qualified mountain guide — the highest internationally recognised certification for mountain guides. In one of the world's most remote ski environments, you are in expert hands.
Whether you are pushing into serious terrain or exploring at a more relaxed pace, your guide tailors every day to the group's ability and ambition.
"The highest internationally recognised certification for mountain guides."
