The Boat

Access that changes everything

Tommy and his boat are key. Landing and picking up on remote coastline is not simple, and you want a skilled skipper. You can relax about the ocean — Tommy has spent his life on the water. His boat is the perfect size: too big and we can't get into where we want; too small and things get tricky. Each morning we study the weather and snow conditions and choose an appropriate route. The boat ride usually takes between 10–20 minutes.

The surrounding fjords hold thousands of ski lines. We are not limited to picking up in the same location we started and often will do an island crossing or even pick a new objective if we see something we like. We are in contact with base via an Inreach GPS and Tommy and Ingrid will track our progress throughout the day. Safety is our highest priority.

The boat is a Sting 600 Pro HT, a rugged Nordic utility boat with a hard top wheelhouse to protect you from the elements.
