Sami · Born on Seiland Island

We are Sami — the indigenous people of northern Norway — and we have lived on Seiland our whole lives. Our family has farmed here for generations. When you stay with us, you are not visiting a tourist operation. You are a guest in our community.

Ingrid tends the farm — sheep, hens, and the daily bread that will be waiting for you each morning. Tommy knows every mountain, every fjord, every run on the surrounding islands. He takes you out on the boat and shows you terrain that most skiers will never see.

We love sharing Sami culture and the traditions of island life with our guests. Part of coming somewhere this remote is experiencing how people actually live here. We are happy to share that with you.

"We didn't build a business on the island. We just opened our home."
